Insurance + Out-of-Network Information
I am currently in-network with the following commercial plans:
PacificSource
Regence/BCBS
United Healthcare/Optum
Providence
I am considered Out-of-Network with all other insurance companies at this time. I am able to provide clients with a superbill for those interested in submitting their claims to their respective insurance companies.
What this entails is that clients pay for the full fee of services up front to Through the Woods Counseling, and after services are rendered, I am able to send you a superbill which is similar to a 'receipt'.
Clients are responsible for uploading these superbills to their insurance company themselves and may be able to receive partial reimbursement from their health insurance provider.
As a fully licensed provider, clients have the potential to receive up to 75% reimbursement, however, this depends on your insurance provider and plan.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

-
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service

-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
